Why we do it

At the core of KAEMP 8848 lies a deep passion for experiencing nature. To enable people to have this experience, KAEMP 8848 designs outstanding products. These special moments do exist:

When, during an ascent in biting cold, your breath forms a dense cloud in front of your mouth. The next step towards the summit can only be achieved through willpower and love for the journey. This sensation transcends the means of language and is the driving force behind the search for good equipment. Because if the journey becomes impossible due to unsafe or inadequate equipment, we are deprived of this feeling.

To pave the way for more people, we offer the 10%. Equipment should not be a barrier.

What we do

10% of the annual profit generated in Germany is used to facilitate the participation of athletes from Nepal in competitions, finance equipment, and provide direct support. This is not about sponsorship or performance-based payment. The focus is on the conviction that human striving should not be hindered by economic or social disadvantages.

How we do it

Meeting on equal terms, connected through the passion for sport, is important to us. This form of connection defines us. Athletes in Nepal push boundaries—their own and those of human potential. We want to facilitate this striving and establish and maintain a partnership with the athletes. Through a close social network of athletes in Nepal, from mountain guides to marathon runners, we learn about their needs and connect to be present in the community where it is needed.
